Jonathan Brandes is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Department, where he advises clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, commercial transactions, and strategic business planning. He represents clients in structuring and negotiating complex agreements, providing guidance on compliance with corporate laws, and assisting companies through critical stages of growth, transactions, and operational development. Jonathan works closely with executives, business owners, and in-house counsel to deliver practical legal solutions tailored to their strategic objectives. He joined the firm following his tenure as Corporate Counsel at Carrier Global Corporation (NYSE: CARR), a Fortune 500 company.

Jonathan began his legal career at Greenberg Traurig, LLP in Fort Lauderdale, where he advised public and private companies, investors, and entrepreneurs on domestic and cross-border transactions. His experience includes representing buyers and sellers in mergers and acquisitions, negotiating venture capital and private equity investments, and counseling clients on corporate governance and day-to-day operational matters.

Jonathan earned his J.D. from Tulane University Law School and his B.A. from The George Washington University.

A South Florida native, Jonathan is active in the legal community and contributes to initiatives supporting business development and corporate governance. Outside the office, he enjoys spending time with his French Bulldog, Pickle.
