BIOGRAPHY

Olivia Retenauer is an attorney in the firm’s litigation department. Her practice focuses on complex business litigation involving a variety of disputes concerning employment, real estate, trade secret and anti-competition, fraud, and contractual breaches. Her strength in analyzing procedural and statutory aspects in complex commercial cases has proven to be an effective tool in her pre-trial and trial advocacy. Olivia is a zealous advocate for her clients and is tenacious in her litigation style.

Prior to joining Tobin Reyes, Olivia worked at a boutique commercial litigation and employment law firm in South Florida. Olivia’s experience before diving into litigation was rooted in transactions where she accumulated knowledge of and strategy surrounding corporate transactions, mergers and acquisitions, commercial agreements, and corporate governance.

Olivia earned her law degree from the University of Miami School of Law, graduating magna cum laude and receiving multiple merit-based scholarships. She earned the CALI Excellence for the Future Award in Civil Procedure I and II, was named to the Dean’s List, and participated in a fellowship with the Children and Youth Law Clinic.

Prior to law school, Olivia graduated from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor), with high distinction, with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, as a third-year graduate. Olivia also was a member of the Michigan Community Scholars Program.

In addition to her legal practice, Olivia is actively involved in the Broward County Bar Association.
