Ricardo Reyes, Jr. is an associate in the firm’s litigation department. Ricardo’s practice focuses on complex construction and business litigation matters, encompassing a wide range of disputes involving commercial construction defects, contract breaches, and general business litigation. His attention to detail and methodical approach to litigation have quickly earned him recognition as an effective advocate for his clients.

Prior to joining Tobin Reyes, Ricardo worked as an associate at a regional insurance defense firm in Boca Raton representing insureds in various commercial construction defect and general liability matters. Ricardo’s background in insurance defense provided him with invaluable experience in managing intricate cases, working with clients to minimize risk exposures, and resolving disputes efficiently.

Ricardo obtained his J.D. from Quinnipiac University School of Law, where he clerked for numerous law firms across Connecticut and Florida specializing in complex commercial, construction, and general liability litigation, as well as a leading insurance carrier in Hartford, Connecticut. While at Quinnipiac, Ricardo further distinguished himself through his academic and extracurricular achievements, having been the recipient of Quinnipiac’s Distinguished Scholar and Outstanding Oral Advocacy awards and an active participant in the University’s Moot Court, Mock Trial and Dispute Resolution societies.

In addition to his legal practice, Ricardo is actively involved in the legal community and is a member of both the Palm Beach County Bar Association and the Palm Beach County Hispanic Bar Association. Outside of the office, Ricardo enjoys spending his time playing golf or out on the water with family and friends.
